  • Does this position offer opportunity for growth and career development?
  • Would I be able to represent the company in other areas?

3. Performance-based interview questions

You need to demonstrate from the go that you are setting yourself up for success. This is why you should gain insights into your performance and how your work will be evaluated.

  • What are the performance expectations you have from the position holder?
  • How is the performance review done here? How often will my performance be reviewed?

4. Interview questions about the company

It is natural that you will not be working for an individual but a company or a department. This is the reason why you need to dig a little bit deeper to understand the place that will probably become your home in a few weeks.

The people you work with can either make or break you. You need to know who you will be working with from the very beginning.

  • Can you tell me more about the particular team I will be working with?
  • Who will I get to work with more loosely and o a daily basis?
  • Which other departments in the company work closely with this particular team?

Asking questions is another way of telling the interviewer that ‘I am the right person for this job.’
