Executive Administrative Assistant to the Corporate Office at Cytonn Investments Management Ltd

Cytonn Investments is an investments and real estate company, with offices in Nairobi – Kenya and DC Metro area – U.S. We are primarily focused on offering alternative investment solutions to global institutional investors, individual high net-worth investors, local institutional investors and diaspora investors interested in the East-African region. Our alternative investments solutions are based on four main products: real estate, structured solutions, private equity and advisory. Most of the investment opportunities in Sub Saharan Africa are not in the listed markets, hence our focus on alternative investments to find uncommon value and returns for our clients.

To manage its rapid growth, the company is looking for highly motivated, dynamic, hardworking and self-driven team player to join the team in the corporate office. The position will afford the individual a unique opportunity to participate in both a strong incentive structure and a clear path to a fulfilling career in Executive Administration.


  1. Maintain the CEO’s office appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
  2. Screen and manage visitors to the corporate office
  3. Plan and coordinate events and activities
  4. Handling all internal and external communication in the corporate office
  5. Maintain an accurate and organized filing system
  6. Planning itinerary from travel documents such as insurance, visas, tickets
  7. Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive’s absence, speaking for the executive
  8. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  9. Secures information by completing database backups
  10. Supervising support staff assigned to the corporate office
  11. Conduct research, collect and analyse data to prepare reports and documents
  12. Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary
  13. Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time


  1. Must have achieved at least a Minimum B+ Grade in high school
  2. Must have 2 years’ experience
  3. A Bachelors Undergraduate Degree; Second Class Honours (upper division)
  4. Listening and Communication Skills
  5. Interpersonal Skills
  6. Organizational and planning skills
  7. A team player and self-driven individual
  8. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the company culture
  9. Strong problem-solving and decision making skills with a sense of urgency
