Job Description

The Nursing Officer will be responsible to the Senior Nursing Officer for planning of nursing care of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient’s
  • Providing health education and counselling to patients/
  • Referring patients and clients
  • Facilitating patients’ admission and initiating discharge
  • Maintaining records on patients/ clients health condition and
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical
  • Collecting and compiling clinical

Qualifications

  • Higher Diploma in Neonatal
  • Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery (KRN/M) OR Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN).
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of
  • Valid Practising License from Nursing Council of
  • Certificate in computer
  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya
