TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR PUBLICATION SUPPORT OF ECOLOGICAL ORGANIC RESEARCH WORK BY UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
To support PhD and Master of Science students, publish their work in regional and international recognized scientific journals. Areas of interest that will be viable for publication support will include organic agriculture, sustainable agriculture, agroecology, agroforestry, policy related studies in organic agriculture, marketing related studies, consumer studies, food security and nutrition in the context of organic agriculture and any other related studies.
A. THE APPLICATION MUST CONTAIN:
Þ Personal information.
Þ Title of publication and type of publication.
Þ Description of the publication (max. 5.000 characters including spaces).
Þ Author’s list stating their title and affiliation (max. 2.500 characters including spaces).
Þ Table of contents (max. 2.500 characters including spaces).
Þ Targeted publication journals
Þ Letter of recommendation from the University
Þ Reference letter from 2 University supervisors
Þ Quote / cost calculation for the publication
PhD and Masters students from Kenyan Universities with ready publishable materials. This call is open to both Public and Private Universities.
C. *REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPORT

Applications must be received no later than Friday, August 21, 2020.
Applications received after this deadline will not be processed. Decision on which applications to fund will be made in September 2020, and applicants can expect to receive a response in September 2020.

All research articles should have a funding acknowledgement statement included in the manuscript in the form of a sentence under a separate heading entitled ‘Funding’ directly after your Acknowledgements and Declaration of Conflicting Interests, if applicable, and prior to any Notes and your References. The funding agency should be written out in full, followed by the grant number in square brackets.
