Position Name: Operations Manager

A premier Manufacturing company dealing in Construction Chemicals, is looking for an Operations Manager.

Location: Athi River, Nairobi, Kenya.

Requirement:

  • Graduate/Post-graduate   
  • Must have experience of the SAP platform
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years in any Factory operations or in the Construction Industry
  • Previous Experience of Managing a Team, Dealing with Factory, Warehousing, Dispatch, Imports Handling, Consignment Clearing will be preferred

Job Description:

The person will be responsible for the following –

  • Warehousing of imported finished goods
  • Billing and dispatch of goods to the local and international markets
  • Stock keeping, audit and overall management of all finished goods, marketing collaterals and infrastructure management
  • Handle primary and secondary transportation
  • Clearing the Imported Goods from the port
  • Planning, Monitoring, and Reviewing the performance of each of the team members (both casuals and permanent)
  • Custodian of various compliances, e.g., adherence to attendance norms, timely review meetings, documentation & reporting
  • Sales reports, stock reports, and various other reports to be generated on a daily/monthly basis and shared
