Chef & Aupair Job, Current Hotel Jobs,

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am – 6pm

Location: Unity West Tatu City

We have a small house currently 50 m2 moving to a 100 m2 at the end of 2021.

House Management

Managing house cleaner 3 times a week for a couple of hours.

Keeping the kitchen and refrigerator clean and tidy on a daily basis.

Manage and work with the cleaner to carry out a total house clean once every 1 month.

Creating and improving a quality control checklist for the Total House Clean

Managing receipts and accounting for cash.

Shopping for Groceries and household items.

Treat guests pleasantly and make them feel at home.

Manage weekly floral arrangement

Generally ensuring our small household is kept immaculate.

Lay table elegantly for meals

Prepare school clothes for our 4 year old.

Learning and Improving.

Learning at least 1 new recipe a week getting feedback on family’s preferences.

Maintaining a family recipe book and adding to it.

Children

Teaching our 4 year old boy to enjoy cooking.

Food and Refreshments

Setting weekly menus that constantly change.

Cooking meals: lunch and diner as required.

Good focus on professional food presentation

Ensuring that the family eats healthy (small balanced portions low carbs!)

Serve tea/coffee to guests/family when around the house.

Mix a Great Cocktail

Events

Organise formal diners 3-4 courses for 4-10 people.

Organise family birthday parties 

Cook and pack food for family 1-2 days picnics/excursions

Guests

Managing the Guest apartment

Making guests feel welcome 

Understanding any dietary requirements they might have

Decorum

Making one good joke a week.

Remuneration – Ksh 35 gross

Additional Allowances

1k Babysitting per evening

2k for making Dinner when there is special event

Qualification

Trained Chef – can pull off diverse meals both oriental and local
